"The 'September 18 Incident' took place on September 18, 1931. It was an aggressive action by Japanese imperialism against Northeast China. It marked the beginning of Japan's aggression against China and eventually led to the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War." The volunteers excitedly told the children about that brutal history, narrating the glorious stories of national heroes and heroic troops, and the children were engrosed and their eyes were bright. Through the vivid explanation, the children have a deeper understanding of this period of history and know that the rise of China today is not easy.

When hearing that the Red Army defeated the enemy with fewer victories, a child stood up excitedly and said: "Unity is strength!" Other children said: "We should be prepared for danger, remember the history, always alert, do not forget the national humiliation." "Only when we lag behind can we be beaten, and only when we develop can we be strong." "Remember the history, we should strengthen ourselves!" Perhaps they will have a deeper understanding of this history in the future, but at this moment their young hearts have established the belief that "the strong country is me."

In order to give the children a deeper understanding of the concept of the country, volunteers organized the children to build the magnificent Tiananmen Square with building blocks. With the help of volunteers, "you find the parts, I assemble them, he looks at the drawings." The children have a reasonable division of labor and work together to patiently "build" the magnificent Tiananmen Square. Looking at the completed Tiananmen Square, the smiles on the faces of the children revealed their inner joy and pride at this moment, and the children said: "We must go to see the real Tiananmen Square in the future!"

It is reported that the college will continue to cooperate with Tangjiang Town New era civilization Practice Station to carry out "childlike Harbor" voluntary activities. The theme education activities of "Do not forget the national humiliation and remember the martyrs from generation to generation" have cultivated the patriotic feelings of young people and inspired their enthusiasm to learn knowledge and serve the motherland.
