On the occasion of the National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival, in order to express the college's concern and sympathy for minority students, we will strengthen the exchange and communication with minority students. On September 27, our college held the "Face to Face Activity between the Dean of the Secretary and Students (the sixth phase)" and the symposium of representatives of minority students in the Conference room 321 of Jingshi Building. Liu Liming, deputy minister of the Department of Student Affairs of the University Party Committee, Wu Yuan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the University, all counselors and representatives of minority students attended the symposium. The meeting was chaired by Wu Yuan.
At the beginning of the symposium, Wu Yuan carried out warning education based on actual cases from three aspects: laws and regulations, network security civilization and school rules and regulations, pointing out that college students should take the initiative to learn the law and understand the law, and constantly enhance the awareness of rule of law, discipline and prevention. Liu Liming put forward the requirements for young students: first, the core is fine learning skills, and the ideal is to serve the motherland; The second is to abide by the discipline as the guarantee, to maintain the overall situation as the pursuit; The third is to promote unity as the basis, to build a home as the mission. It is hoped that the students will actively integrate into the family of Jiangli University and be the kindling of the cause of national unity.
In the interactive communication session, the students spoke enthusiastically and shared what they had learned, thought and felt in the university, and their expectations and confusion for the future. In response to the questions raised by the delegates, the teachers answered questions one by one and provided practical guidance and suggestions. Elia Enivar, a 2020 student of Engineering Cost, also shared her experience and suggestions from professional learning, discipline competitions, extra-curricular activities, etc., which benefited lower grade students.
All ethnic groups should unite as one family to build the Chinese Dream together. The College actively pays attention to the ideological dynamics of students, pays attention to the education and guidance of students, regularly carries out face-to-face activities between the secretary and students, timely grasps and helps students solve their growth puzzles, and lays a solid foundation for providing high-quality education management services to students.
